The early part of 2016 has seen much ado about racism on social media and in our local press. Racism is, of course, a highly sensitive issue and is often viewed subjectively. It was fortuitous, therefore, that I recently participated in an informative webinar which was offered by the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR). The topic addressed during the webinar was “Unconscious Bias in Selection Settings”.
